The P5 children had a wonderful day participating in Young Enterprise, ‘Our City’ programme with Fionnuala McMenamin. First, the children examined the differences between a village, town and city. The children created their own cities by decorating buildings found in a city, e.g. cathedrals and factories. They recognised landmarks in various cities. Fionnuala helped the children understand the importance of managing their money wisely and they even had the chance to design their own restaurant. Thank you to Fionnuala for a great day.
