Shared Education P5
We had a productive day in Gortin Glens, despite the weather! ☔️☔️
Lots of fun and learning in the wonderful outdoors. We had great fun completing a sculpture trail, finding lots of animals that live in the forest, red squirrels, Sika Deers and bats to name a few. This was followed by a red squirrel quiz. We then undertook a scavenger hunt and created a picture using natural materials. The children used their imagination to create Rudolph, a stick man and a snail. We made lots of new friends from Gillygooley. Thank you to Lynn, our leader in the Gortin Glens for organising the activities. I’m sure the children are exhausted tonight, but I’m sure they enjoyed their day at Gortin Glens! 😊 We look forward to working with the boys and girls again from Gillygooley each Thursday until half term for Forest School sessions in St Ronan’s Recarson.
