This week the boys and girls in P5 worked together with the children from Gillygooley P.S to complete a numeracy lesson, building on prior learning of Data Handling. A range of natural materials were collected and the children created Venn and Carroll diagrams using hula hoops and string. Each group explained their sorting to the other groups. In class, the children used the app Just2easy to create a bar, line and pie chart using the data collected. The children worked extremely well together. We look forward to seeing our friends from Gillygooley next Thursday again 🤗
