Primary 3 went outside to explore for mini beasts this week. They were equipped with collection pots and magnifying glasses.The children looked under logs, leaves, tree stumps, in leaf piles and in the soil to try and find as many different mini beasts as they could. Using their charts, they identified ants, spiders, woodlice, a moth pupa and a worm.They had great fun comparing what they found with their friends and exploring the great outdoors.
