As we approach the end of another school year we prepare to say a fond farewell to our highly esteemed colleagues, Mrs Joanne McGread, Foundation Stage teacher, and Isobel McGahan, our school building supervisor. We are grateful for the many years of service which both Mrs McGread and Ms McGahan have given to St Ronan’s Recarson and we thank them for their dedication. We wish them a long and healthy retirement. They will be greatly missed by all.
There will be a 'Mass of Thanksgiving' on Wednesday 21st June 2023 at 7.30pm followed by refreshments and presentations in the Cappagh Parish Hall. Everyone is welcome to attend. All current pupils are asked to attend the event in school uniform.
Please spread the word to past pupils and families from the past 36 years of Mrs McGread’s teaching career at St Ronan’s, to join us on this evening. An Open Invitation is on the School Facebook Page and we ask for your help to share this with the St Ronan's Recarson family.
We are planning on presenting Mrs McGread and Ms McGahan with some gifts to thank them for their contribution to St Ronan’s. If you would like to make a donation towards either farewell retirement gift, please send it into school in an envelope clearly marked, ‘Retirement Gift for ____________'. Again, any family who no longer have children at the school, can drop donations in to the School Office.
We look forward to a memorable evening and hope many of you can join us.
